“People often say that ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder,’ and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder. This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look, including inside ourselves.” – Salma Hayek
This post is about the small and simple things in life. It’s about how you can always find beauty, no matter where you are. It can be found anywhere, in your backyard, at the park, at school and especially within yourself. This post is dedicated to beauty. I love to get up close and personal and try to find little things that many people overlook.
As I was in the ghost town, Bannack, I looked for as many of those things I could find. Below you will find 10 images that I liked the most. I used a Nikon camera to capture the shots. It was my first time using a Nikon and I wasn’t completely confident in my ability to use this new camera, but I was pleasantly pleased with these shots. No filters were used in the capturing of any of these photos.
