10 Down on the Content Farm

This WEEK in MEDIA 224: Down on the Content Farm

March 4, 2011

Today the Oscars were discussed. With the Oscars there was a lot of tweeting going on. This is what I would really like to focus on. The Oscars was a television show focused on what happened in film.

The tweets about the Oscars were probably more entertaining to read than Anne Hathaway and James Franco were to watch. I would have to agree with this podcast in regards to this. I don’t know if it was the writers or the actors who hosted that made the Oscars such a flop, but it didn’t do too well. It was interesting to see how people would tweet about an event that was happening live and critiquing them as the program went on. It was also interesting to know that there was a backstage app for those who are huge Oscar fans. I wish I would have known about that before. I would have liked to see what was going on backstage with all the winners.
